3 of 4 won’t really make a difference at this point but it would be a fun outcome. Let’s go Alex!
I like this lineup.
Let’s score 12, it’ll be fun

anything is possible but my thoughts ---
Votto on IL -- O'Grady recalled
A sweep would make the last 5 weeks fun, but we would have to win 7 more games than the Cards, Cubs, Brewers to get a division win and 7 more games than the Cubs, Brewers, Phillies, Mets, Giants and DBacks to sneak into a wildcard spot. Mathematically possible, but not realistic. Let's just win one today!
Joey Votto to the 10-day injured list, retroactive to Thursday, with a low back strain.
#Reds recall OF Brian O’Grady.
A friend treated me to the game last night, it was a last minute invitation good thing we live close to the ballpark. We got there in time for the first pitch.
My wife and I are going again Tuesday night.
Today, the Reds are wearing the 1990 throwbacks. The Reds were 91-71 in 1990, winning the NL West by 5 games over the Dodgers. The Reds defeated the Pirates 4-2 in a very competitive and exciting NLCS, and swept the Athletics 4-0 to claim their fifth World Series Championship. The Reds were managed by Lou Piniella.
On August 18, 1990, the Reds lost to the Pirates 3-1 at Riverfront Stadium. The Reds starting lineup that afternoon:
Barry Larkin ss
Mariano Duncan 2b
Chris Sabo 3b
Eric Davis cf
Glenn Braggs rf
Hal Morris 1b
Billy Hatcher lf
Joe Oliver c
Chris Hammond p
Update on Winker?
Votto our for several more games.
Aquino/VanMeter/Ervin should have ample opportunities
Hopefully we see the Alex Wood we hoped for today.....
Edman owns us
