Re: Red Birds at Reds 9/4/2013
Heisey is back up to a .737 OPS and is probably the Reds second-best defensive OF (after Bruce) so I'm not surprised to see him getting regular PT again. His power also seems to be back, as that OPS is essentially driven by XBH and not walks.

Yeah....but if he goes 6/6 with 3 Hr and 10 RBI, he won't be in LF tomorrow....or the next day...or the next day

His OPS+ by month.
April 33
June 138
July 141
August 121
Sept 356
I would hope he would PH and get into one of the next two games.....and HOPEFULLY start in center in the upcoming series against Ryu or Kershaw. Choo's robust .541 OPS vs. lefties shouldn't be ignored during the stretch run. That includes a .186 average and .216 slugging. O.U.C.H.

I think you saw BHs role on this team for the remainder of this season last night.
Re: Red Birds at Reds 9/4/2013
With Arroyo facing the Cards and a lifetime 8-16 record against them, this is not a game I expect the Reds to win. Hopefully, they surprise me and wrap up at least a series win tonight!
Re: Red Birds at Reds 9/4/2013
I have all the faith in the world that Arroyo will dominate tonight.
Re: Red Birds at Reds 9/4/2013
Anyone else tired of the overkill amount of posts this year saying that the Cards are so much better than the Reds?
Win the next 2 and the Reds leap them in the standings.
Re: Red Birds at Reds 9/4/2013
just win :dunno:
beer is cold, I´m not tired yet => best conditions
