I thought about risking the bad juju and joining in by posting a picture of the Miss America winner from 1908 but the Miss America competition did not start until 1921, 13 years after the Cubs last won the Series.
The last time the Cubs won the World Series these were the most popular baby names in the U.S.

The Cubs have apparently hired Tom Tango.

This is not to mock the Cubs for making the move, but rather to wish Mr. Tango well and hope that the stench of Cubdom does not follow him when he inevitably realizes the error of his ways ("Whiskey Tango Foxtrot was I thinking?") and latches on with a real MLB team.
That explains why he stopped blogging a few weeks back. The sabermetric blogosphere is quickly getting cherry-picked. All I have to say is that we should mock the Cubs while we still have the chance. There's absolutely no reason why they can't join the Yankees/Dodgers/Angels tier quite soon.

That's some funny stuff!
Have to admit, I do like the Lucha Libre style Cubs wresting mask.
Double post
Had you been on hand to watch their last championship, you would have been able to do so in West Side Park, as Weeghman Park was still some six years from being built.
After the Cubs moved to Weeghman, West Side Park became home to the Buffalo Bill Wild West show, as Buffalo Bill was still alive.
Here's a photo of him in 1917 at the Park
