*(0.006) RHSP - Hector Pérez - Hector struggled in AAA while on optional assignment and was ultimately outrighted to make room for new 40 man addition Mike Freeman, Hector's since been demoted to AA Chattanooga. He'll qualify for minor league free agency this winter.

*(5.153) RHRP - Cam Bedrosian - Cam was released after just 6 games with the Reds due to poor performance, he subsequently saw action with the A's but has recently been released too free agency once again.

Notes on Additions:

*Ashton Goudeau was initially drafted by the Royals in the 27th round of the 2012 draft, he entered 2021 with 2 remaining option years. If he's outrighted between now and November he'd qualify for minor league free agency after the world series ends.

*Brad Brach was initially drafted by the Padres in the 42nd round of the 2008 draft, he is out of options and will be a free agent at year's end.

*Heath Hembree was initially drafted by the Giants in the 5th round of the 2010 draft, he is out of options and will be a free agent at year's end.

*Michael Feliz was initially signed as an IFA out of the Dominican Republic by the Athletics in 2010, he is out of options and he'll be arbitration eligible this winter. Like Goudeau though, if he's outrighted between now and November he'd qualify for minor league free agency after the world series ends.

*Josh Osich was initially drafted by the Giants in the 6th round of the 2011 draft, he entered the season with one option year remaining and will be arbitration eligible this winter. As Osich has been outrighted once before, if he's outrighted again at any point he'll have the right to immediately opt for free agency (similar to Romano).

*Phillip Diehl was initially drafted by the Yankees in the 27th round of the 2016 draft, he had one option year remaining entering the year. He'll remain under minor league contract with the Reds through the 2022 season or if/when his contract is repurchased and subsequently outrighted a second time at which point he could elect free agency.

*Beau Taylor was initially drafted by the Athletics in the 5th round of the 2011 draft, he entered the year with one remaining option year. Like Osich, since he's been outrighted before, if he's outrighted again at any point he'll have the right to immediately elect free agency.

*Alejo López was drafted by the Reds in the 27th round of the 2015 draft (overslot 10th rd bonus), he has all 3 option years remaining.

*Mike Freeman was drafted by the Diamondbacks in the 11th round of the 2010 draft, he entered the year with one option year remaining. Depending on just how many days he spends on the active roster he may be arbitration eligible this winter. Like Osich and Taylor, since he's been outrighted before, if he's outrighted again at any point he can immediately elect free agency.

Mike Freeman has officially picked up enough days of service this season, that he'll qualify for arbitration this winter if he's not DFA'd/outright released between now and then.
