Yeah, the Dons aren't great but they are well above average.

BYU has climbed to NET #18. A win Saturday would make the Zags 6-1 vs. Q1 and a near lock for a 1 seed. We can also probably go ahead and lock in the Baylor/Kansas winner this weekend on the 1 line as well.

If Baylor and Gonzaga cross paths, I personally have zero doubt who wins that game. Also, not sure if you watched the game, but that 17 point win was a result of fouling in the last minute and Gonzaga shooting and making a 3 pointer as time expired. It was around a 10 point lead with a little over a minute left.
Btw, WVU beat TCU by 32 this year. ;)

above average? In the sense they are in the top half of the 300+ D1 teams, ok...but that is the only way they get defined "above average". I would not consider a team you play that will either result in a Q3 win or loss above average.

353 schools...they are 96th in the NET. North Carolina is #94.

Gonzaga and Baylor have two commons opponents: Washington & Arizona. Baylor lost to Washington on a neutral court by 3, Gonzaga beat Washington in Seattle by 7. And they both beat Arizona by single-digits.
I point this out tongue-in-cheek because these games happened in November and December, but I'm a big mid-major fan so you'll always find me going to bat for the strong teams from the "lesser" conferences.
Re: College Basketball 2019-2020
just gonna admit I may have been too tough on the WCC....sure there is some East Coast bias in there. I was looking at Sagarin rankings, and the WCC ranks stronger than the Mountain West and A-10. I would not have thought it was stronger than either.
Re: College Basketball 2019-2020
Any of these teams get upset tomorrow (today)?
Kansas @ Baylor (-2.5)?
Duquesne @ Dayton (-14.0)?
UNLV @ San Diego State (-14.5)?
Gonzaga (-4.5) @ BYU?

#1 Baylor gets knocked off by #3 Kansas in a tough game.....but I would not bump Gonzaga up to #1....maybe Kansas.

Gonzaga probably moves up if they win given that they're also playing a ranked team on the road. But may be right between them and KU.
Re: College Basketball 2019-2020
Mick's Minions win their 5th straight, and 9th out of their last 11. This includes 3 wins over ranked opponents. They could be in a tie for first place in the PAC 12 by the end of the evening.

Rank Dayton #1 you cowards
