Marty's last game. I sure hope we can hear his signature line just one more time in the 9th inning today.

Short of the playoff years, I don't think I've ever wanted to win a game more than I do today. We've got to hear it one last time.
wouldn't it be ironic if Castillo could throw a no-hitter or perfect game?
In the top of the first half inning of Marty's very first regular season game, he got to call Hank Aaron becoming only the 2nd player in baseball history to reach 714 home runs. How about in his very last call be "Geno Suarez becomes only the 2nd Red to reach 50 home runs AND THIS ONE BELONGS TO THE REDS"
I will miss you Marty B. I remember hearing your first broadcast on the school bus and the Hank Aaron homerun call.
Unless Geno is hurt I can't believe he's not playing today of all days.
I don't remember but I would be pretty sure I would have listened to his first broadcast in spring training that year. I listened all the spring games as well as regular season in those days. I do remember at first thinking it was still Al Michaels but sometime along the way he was being referred to as Marty and then hearing this strange name of Brennaman. Hard to believe is has been 46 years. Where has all the time gone?

Looks like there will be a big crowd today. Twitter showed long lines to get into the stadium 90 minutes before game time.
Very disappointed Suarez isn't playing. Get him a blow last night, rest him tomorrow. Today deserves the best lineup possible.
hopefully the Reds win 4-0 with all 4 runs driven by Votto on Sac Flies
And we are underway...........
Grisham flies out.
The quirks of the shift, an easy out on a pop-up is not gotten!
