And Votto retires.

This playoff series feels about like:
Dianna Agron shows up at my front door and says “Operator, I need you”.
Wife shrugs and says “You know what? Why not. Go for it! Have fun!”
At that moment a witch flies by and turns me into a eunuch.
That’s what this felt like.

Relax. He'll start using a shorter bat, choking up even more and stop extending his arms altogether when he swings.
I can't even imagine how exciting it'll be to see him wandering around the infield like a drunken 79 year old at a wedding reception.

Somewhere... in another dimension...the Reds will continue not to score runs against the Braves. To infinity and beyond!!

I dont want to hear Dick Williams or Dave Bell say "it was just bad luck" BS, it was a failure to execute. Dusty Baker is smiling watching this teams failures

That's the spirit.

They clearly had a "home run or bust" approach this season, and despite the fact that it really was not working, they stuck with it.
It doesn't make sense. They stick with things (and players) that aren't working.
Re: 10-1-20 Reds @ Braves WCS Game 2
Still nice to be in the post season. Approach and have a plan at the plate.....
Re: 10-1-20 Reds @ Braves WCS Game 2
This team needs a complete overhaul starting at the top. With the salary commitments on the books and being a small market team coming out of Covid there is no tweaking that will make us a winner. It’s complete rebuild time.

All the dudes with ladies in their avatars are calling for the ladies in their avatars, this is hilarious
Re: 10-1-20 Reds @ Braves WCS Game 2
Would we really have wanted the Reds to take it all in 2020? Given the inevitable asterisks? And we'd have to defend those forever???

Actually the Reds organization has had the HR or Bust approach for several seasons now. That's why changes needs to be made starting at the top with Dick.

You got me to google Dianna Agron since I hadn't heard of her. :D
Re: 10-1-20 Reds @ Braves WCS Game 2
Let me get this straight: They played 22 innings of post season baseball and didn't score a run?
