Colon cancer at the age of 42.
Played the Black Panther and Jackie Robinson in “42”
This was one of the brightest younger stars in Hollywood. Just awful news.
**** 2020.
Wow that has ruined my day. He was brilliant.
RIP
The press release stated that he was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer in 2016. That means he made Black Panther and many other great movies, with stage 3 cancer without letting anyone know. A true, real life super hero.
Saw him a coupe times where he looked real thin but cancer never crossed my mind...
Cancer sucks. Loved him in 42.
How crazy is it that MLB had Jackie Robinson day today?
Man that's a gut punch. I had no idea he was even fighting cancer, but do vaguely recall a photo of him not too long ago where he looked pretty rough. Cancer sucks, my fam went through it earlier this year when we lost my step dad. Such a talented actor gone too soon.
Hoping they don’t recast him in Black Panther now. Whoever would take his place could not do it justice.

Very sad news. I will say I haven't seen Black Panther yet (I am not a big superhero movie person) but loved T'Challa's appearance on Black Jeopardy.

I was stunned and saddened to learn of this. R.I.P.
I hate 2020, and i hate cancer!!!
He did a brilliant portrayal of James Brown too, but nobody seems to be talking about that one.
Went and watched Black Panther Wakanda Forever last night. They did a beautiful job paying tribute to Boseman in the movie. It is a tearjerker, especially if you are going through a grieving process.
