Re: College Football 2019
I'm extremely pleased with the haul Tennessee pulled in. Particularly Darnell Wright, an OT from West Virginia. He's the 8th highest rated recruit ever for the UT program according to 247Sports. Tenn also had the #1 recruiter in the land in Brian Niedermeyer although I must confess to not understanding how they determine that.
If any of you can make sense of it, please enlighten me

Tennessee badly needed an influx of talent. Let's hope Pruitt can get them coached up quickly
Re: College Football 2019
Jeremy Pruitt says that "when you walk into a recruit's home and the Volunteer (basketball) team is kickin' somebody's A, I'm telling you it makes it a little easier to sell the Univ of Tenn. That's important

Nice to see the football coach give credit to the basketball team for helping him in recruiting...

Keep a eye towards south Beach Manny Diaz has been tearing it up on the transfer circuit and cleaning up the mess Marc Richt left behind. Maaybe mot 2019 but 2020 Canes are going to make Clemson and Alabama's more than a little nervous.

I love the Canes, but no.
Re: College Football 2019
I suppose this is as good of a thread as any to put here. Big 10 Commissioner Jim Delany will step down in June of 2020 when his contract expires.

Change of careers for former UC coach Tommy Tuperville. he's running for the Senate (Alabama) in 2020

If he wins the primary, he'll have a good shot
Re: College Football 2019
Barry Alvarez thinks there may be a window to expand the college football playoff a year from now.
