My Midwest comment was more about his personality than play style. He has a very blue collar attitude, which is great, but probably not a fit in LA

Mick Cronin made it work.

That's a fair point. He was also their 6th choice or something like that. He maybe shouldn't have been, but Cronin isn't the type of coach that they were looking for.
I think USC football is different from UCLA basketball at this point too. I don't think Fleck would be a terrible hire by any means, but I think they'll be looking for a more exciting name, whether that's right or not.

Is that one "Mission Accomplished" just yet? They obviously had an amazing tournament run, but they were nearly an NIT team after blowing a huge lead in the first round of the Pac 12 Tournament and needed a lot of magic just to get out of the play in game.

That would be my thought as well...the jury is still out but it is looking promising.

Fine....sure....but it will be a very different level of fine. That amount will place you in the most elite developments around Minneapolis.....it will not in LA.

7000 square foot home on Lake Minnetonka or 4000 square foot home in Manhattan Beach? Easy answer come December haha
I don’t think he’s gonna be the guy anyway.

Bobby Petrino? He probably couldn't leave Missouri State soon enough if SC called (although they seem to have a good team there for once.)

I mean, it's not a coincidence that Missouri State is all of a sudden good. Have to believe his nine lives are up in terms of major college coaching, though.

Not it you made $4.5M a year. LA might be the best city on Earth to be rich in.

This is for another thread, but if I made $4.5M a year, I could think of a ton more cities I would rather live in than LA.
