Re: 9/15/17 Pirates @ Reds Free Game of the day on MLB.COM
2 Things:
1) The Reds have a real chance of passing the Pirates in the standings this season.
2) I was really hoping that MLB would make a mistake and forget to schedule all Pirates-Reds games next season. I was really disappointed when the schedule came out.

I always get melancholy at this time of year. Been a crappy season, thin crowd at the end of the year for a cellar club, Reds baseball is about done, and no more local baseball till next spring. Leaves are turning a smidge, thoughts have turned to football, and one more Reds season down for me. #55.

Took Iggy 40+ pitches but the Reds close it out. We're good again.

Tonight's Joe Nuxhall Star of the Game is Zack Cozart, who was 2-for-5 with a pair of solo HR's.

An average, healthy year next year gets Joey to #3.
