Re: Cincinnati soccer/MLS
The Carolina Panthers, the Toronto Rapters, and the Revolution - those have to be, by far, the most 90's logos, right?

Heck of a shot by Blanco. It was still picking up zing when it entered the goal.

It was incredible.
Portland got a lifeline when they disallowed the second SKC goal (which was the correct call), Blanco drills that beauty and then Valeri makes a great hustle play. Really fun game to watch as a neutral fan.
MLS Cup should be a fun one. Having it played infront of 75k fans in that atmosphere will be a great showcase for the league.

Portland just pulled out road playoff wins @ RSL, @ Seattle and @ KC. That's unprecedented. Portland Fires their Coach after a Cup Victory and a semi-Final loss. Their new Coach is in his 5th League Championship Game in 6 seasons since he became a Head Coach. He won the first 4.
But, trying to win in Atlanta is quite the task. They tied 1-1 last time they played there.
It's amazing how the best players are always the ones to come up with playoff goals.

The USMNT concluded it's exhaustive, 18-month search for a new by hiring the only person it interviewed, Gregg Berhalter.

I know, right? I guess he was their guy all along but didn't want to leave the Crew until after this season.

He can do both, no?

No. International soccer coach is a full-time gig. You've got to spend a lot of time scouting your potential player pool.
Also, MLS doesn't take international breaks.
