Geno dropped another spot in the lineup, down to 7th, behind TySteve. Good to see Bell not afraid to make that move.
Re: 6-19-21 Reds @ Padres 7:15pm
I'd bat Stephenson fifth but I'm otherwise fine with it.
Re: 6-19-21 Reds @ Padres 7:15pm
Really trying to stay positive, but I feel a sweep coming. Perfect storm for the Padres. They were struggling now they got their full crowd back and after the game 1 momentum. I really hope I'm wrong

I agree
Re: 6-19-21 Reds @ Padres 7:15pm
Votto moves up to 4th. Which I like. But agree with others on Stephenson. Naquin is slumping. Put Tyler 5th.

It was stated matter of factly the other night the FO makes the lineup. (Many do but I’m talking specifically about the Reds)
Anyone have a source? (The posted the other day used a article/quote from the Price era.)

The Padres lineup has been added to the original post
Re: 6-19-21 Reds @ Padres 7:15pm
Tonight's game is the Fox Nationally Televised Game Of The Week. It will NOT be carried on Balley Sports Ohio.

Naquin has turned into Nyquil. Zzzz. Where has the power gone?
Either give Shogo a chance for more obp or Aquino a chance for more HR.
Re: 6-19-21 Reds @ Padres 7:15pm
I at least like the matchup against Diaz more than I did against Musgrove and Paddack. A few HRs of our own would be nice given how SD has been pounding us in that category.

I read that as well and wondering the same. I guess I’ve never heard that front offices fill out the lineup cards. Who would want to manage under those conditions?

As I understood it, the interview with Price indicated that was how it was done while he was manager.
I don't think there was more to it than that implication, as far as I know.
Bell has said he makes the lineups, for what it's worth.

Eric Karros must go to the same barber as Giorgio Tsoukalos.
