Re: Official Redszone Movie Thread, Part V
First movie I've been really excited about in a long time.

Saw Black Widow. It was just okay. Not the worst Marvel movie (hello there, Iron Man 2), but probably in the bottom tier.

I thought the family story was great and I really liked Florence Pugh. The main villain and his “defense system” were the dumbest thing I’ve seen in a Marvel movie.

I really wanted the middle of that movie to be the whole movie.

Cold open + middle section were nearing “fresh chapter in the MCU” territory for me. Bummed the rest was bananas/dumb.

Similar to Nic Cage not saying no too a single script since the IRS threatened him with prison time, which was coincidentally around the same time as Liam's wife's passing.
Bruce Willis too has gone through a similar phase, not long after he split with Demi Moore his movie career went too crap.
I just think Cage is not a good actor and continue to be baffled as to why he gets offered roles. What is the deal with him as he’s not very attractive and is the same act in every movie.
Willis was great in the first couple of Die Hards. Pulp Fiction. He was good in Loopers. But those last DH movies are awful and his other buddy movies. Well they wouldn’t make them if they didn’t make money. That’s about the best you can say about them.

See Pig and tell me Nick Cage isn’t a good actor, or that all his roles are the same! Awesome movie.

Agreed.
Re: Official Redszone Movie Thread, Part V
Nick Cage wearing funny outfits is a fun rabbit hole.

Ok. I’ll take your word for it. I just gave up trying with this guy. Way better actors don’t get this many chances in movies as leads with horrible results. Even Laurence Olivier was taking whatever role was offered. At least him and Caine can act better then the material.

Rolling Stone has put "William Miller's" article about Stillwater on their website.

Jungle Cruise was good...falls apart a bit at the end though...but enjoyable.
Free Guy was very good...Ryan Reynolds plays the same character every film...but he does it so well.

Spider-Man No Way Home trailer released tonight.
I’m excited for this one.
