Darling says the first three guys he faced in MLB were Morgan Rose and Schmidt. And he got them 1-2-3. he thought "This is easy" He said "its good to be young and dumb".

I perked up when Hurdle said he threw the best slider he had seen in awhile. But bear in mind these Mets aren't murderers row.
