Doubt it will be. His option's for a modest amount.

I know some people only want to count the bad numbers from the 2020 season but the Reds had a winning record last year.

*2020
Re: 9-27-21 Reds vs Pirates 1:10pm
ahhh, good to see this team finishing strong. votto's season is just staggering. if you would have told me he would have 20 HRs and barely an .800 OPS this season, i would have been thrilled. dude has hit 35 HRs and is OPsing .950. that's just crazy town right there. i love it.
also love that india is going to be NL ROY. what a revelation he has been.
i'm gonna miss castellanos. love that guy. will be always nice knowing he put up his career year as a member of the reds in a winning season.
Re: 9-27-21 Reds vs Pirates 1:10pm
thought the Reds needed to go 5-2 minimum on this homestand to stay in it...and they lost two games, I loathe the Cardinals, more now than ever, more than the 70s Dodgers...
Re: 9-27-21 Reds vs Pirates 1:10pm
Cincinnati pounds Pittsburgh for the second straight day!
Who Dey! 🐅
Re: 9-27-21 Reds vs Pirates 1:10pm
Hopefully Suarez's uptick in September is a harbinger of things to come in 2022. He's looking like the Suarez of old.
These are the kind of wins I like. Nice and easy.
I like these new kid pitchers. They all look pretty good and should help the Reds out in 22.

Cinci outscores Pittsburgh 37 to 11 . You're right, a pounding handed out by the Queen City teams.

I fully understand the statement but I still loathed the '70's Dodgers more.

Somehow, last year is blurred in my memory. You are correct, Sir. I should have said over a 162 game schedule.

Not hard to understand. 2020 was nothing more than a glorified exhibition season.
