Honestly, I’d be kind of afraid to pepper spray someone right now, all that coughing wouldn’t be great for spreading the virus, especially if they’re an anti-masker

Sweden's at zero.
But then again, I'm not as conversant at politico-psuedo-science as most.

Another bombshell that's failing to materialize.

Georgia's Experiment in Human Sacrifice.
Goddamit. Why does the Left shoot itself in the foot constantly?

I have no idea what you are referring to.
They had 769 new cases and 14 new deaths today.
They have yet to achieve anything close to herd immunity, their economy tanked as bad as anyone's and they ranked 7th in the world in deaths per million population.
Their experiment has been a total disaster no matter how you spin it.

Well, I guess Trump's doing fine then.
Spain, Italy, Belgiun, UK are all doing worse than Sweden despite strict lockdowns.

I'm hoping that getting a face full of pepper spray will make that guy re-think his strategy to the point that he masks-up even when shopping online.

As potentially millions become homeless due to Covid recession/depression, hurricane season bears down. Reported not in NYT or CNN, but Popular Science of all places.

As of July 15, the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine argue for prioritizing sending K-5 kids to schools for in-person learning. Citing educational inequities for poorer children and those with learning disabilities.
As a former public school teacher, these recommendations look impossible, both logistically and financially.

Drug overdoses up this year. Doctors speculate Covid isolation and job loss are contributing.

Italy was the 1st hotspot outside of China and when they locked down it was already too late, but hey context doesn’t matter anymore. All that matters is confirmation bias. Spain was shortly after. Italy was blindsided because China had spent months lying and covering up what was going on with the virus.
UK famously did not have a strict lockdown at first, they started with the herd immunity thing and then realized how stupid it was and locked down.
You have no idea what you are talking about and act like you do.

Imagine where we'd be if we hadn't had such a cynical, half assed, patchwork response to this when it first broke out.

“Thanks COVID”
People are acting like we have been under lockdown for years. It was like 7 weeks and not even the whole country.
