Gerry Arrigo was the first name that came to mind for this thread, but I couldn't think of a catcher. I looked at Arrigo's stats and they weren't horrible. Why do I remember him as being so awful?

2 reasons possibly because johnny bench could his fastball bare handed
or because he was acquired for cesar tovar in another epic disaster of a transaction
he did once pitch a one hitter against t he mets

Speaking of batteries,...in my 51 years of following the REDS I have never seen a battery click like that of Castillo/Casali.
What is it now,...a 1.25 ERA over 6 starts?
