Well I would be happy to give an opinion, but first I would like to know why you think they would stifle it in the first place? A fair question to you.

I have no idea which is why I asked. And you erroneously refuted such a possibility.

I doubt they're stifling anything.
It's quite possibly just negligence on the guys in the TV van.

I would agree. Poor form.

Strange take by North.
Incorrectly stating that if there was an overhead shot they would have shown it.
Then refusing to opine until I answered why they would stifle it. (No one accused them of that)

The "refutation" you speak of is from a poster who stated:
"Could be remembering wrong but I think they showed an overhead shot on Van Meter's check swing."
Let's stop this. :duel:. Tis' late! :beerme:

I have no trouble with that.
There was no way he was going to get to a no-hitter unless Bell was going to go full Terry Collins and let him throw 140 pitches. But even assuming you're right, he left him in for ANOTHER BATTER after the no-hitter was lost. Definitely no excuse for that.

Let's start with Reds fans. Many here need a wake up call that this team is what its record says it is. I hear many hammering on and on about Pythag and one run losses...no! This is still a really bad team when it comes to winning baseball games
Re: Reds @ Mariners 9-11-19 10:10PM
SILVER LINING: After tonight's contest, the Reds play 12 consecutive games against teams with legitimate hopes of making the postseason. Yes, the Reds get to do what they have done 17 times in 20 years since the turn of the century, and that is play the role of spoilers. I have to admit though, sweeping the Cubs and helping to knock them out of wildcard contention would be awfully sweet.
