ESPN love for Yu Darvish who is a below average starter is sickening
10 K's for Darvish now, 7 straight
Looks like we're witnessing a signature 2019 Reds game. Jump on the board in the first then don't even bother taking the bat to the plate from the second inning on.
Still a lot of game to play, but dang.
Silly me, I was watching the ESPN feed wondering what the obsession was with Thom Brennaman.
8 straight K's now, 11 thru 4 IP for Darvish
Woof
What was BOG even doing in that last AB? Took two pitches in the middle of the zone.then swung at a ball to strike out.
I know Darvish can rack some K's up for sure.
But this has been a theme for an entire season. First inning or bust. So many shutouts. So many pitchers having their game of the year against this offense.
They've gotta do something this winter. And I'm fully hoping they bust back out next inning and make me look stupid. That'd be great, lol.

Peraza scorches one right at Bryant but he at least breaks the K streak

And Sonny Gray a base hit
I love baseball
Alright Sonny!
just Google his name and steroids, and it is pretty clear that many assume he was using. I think he even tested positive in some of those leaked test results. If you look at his career stats, it is exhibit A in something changed in 1996 at the age of 35 and his 4th year in Colorado. He basically is a 20 HR guy, then goes to Colorado and gets the 10 HR bump for a few years to a 30 HR guy.....then in 1996 he is nearly a 50 HR guy.
Sonny brings the wood!
