I think that when others are posting that it's great to see Senzel back, this is a fair time to disagree and say again that it's not great.

My biggest takeaway from Reds spring training is that Hunter Greene, Nick Lodolo and Graham Ashcraft look ready to be good right now.
It’s been really impressive how they’ve attacked adjustments and developed new strengths.

Must have missed anyone who's claimed that Senzel is going to be awesome. It's nice he's healthy, of course. But no one is arguing what you seem to insinuate here. And mth has covered his opinion so... many... times... He's not just beating the dead horse; he's stitching it back together Frankenstein-style in order to beat it again.

I was just glad he was returning to health. Don't over-analyze and make it into something it ain't. ;)

Nick Senzel will start the season on the IL. But yesterday, he played in his first baseball game in six months. Afterward, he signed autographs for a half-hour.
“I’m just excited to be here again. It feels like it’s been a long road to get here.”
On his rehab assignment, Nick Senzel will play a lot of center field. He’ll also work at third, second and corner outfield.
“Wherever I can get in the lineup every day, that’s the goal,” Senzel said.
David Bell: “If Nick's healthy, he is one of the best players on the field."

There's ways to say something nice about a player without blatantly lying.

Maybe he means in Louisville.
Okay, sorry.
I’m done.
Go Reds!

He's one of the 18 best players on the field.

I’m thinking 14 on the field, at most?
Re: Reds Spring Training 2023
Of course I hope every Reds player has a good season, but I find myself taking a particularly contrarian interest in Senzel.
Re: Reds Spring Training 2023
So did Nick get any new tats???
Re: Reds Spring Training 2023
In case you guys didn't know it, the Reds have a rotation problem. 5 spots and only 3 players.
Williamson getting crushed tonight.

They've had that problem since Castillo and Mahle were traded. They didn't even act like SP was a need this off season which shows either how little they know, how little they care or both.

Because the praise or opinion that Senzel could amount to something will not die. It must be killed again.
Senzel had a plate appearance. He did his best. Grounded into a Double-Play. So glad he has to earn a spot on the team.
