Holliday singles to break up the no-no.
On another note, I'm seeing numbers ranging from 93 to 95 on Masset's pitches. Not sure if the TV gun is accurate, but his stuff is better than I thought if its true.
Dickerson HR!
Dickerson just hit a bomb. 3 to 1
Dickerson has been very, very impressive. These days, his quick, compact swing is a better swing than Bruce's longer, yank'em swing.
exactly. Dusty has handled Cueto beautifully all year long. Anybody saying otherwise is just looking to bash Dusty.
I also agree (at least partially) with the shutting him down comment too. I'm not sure if you have to shut him down COMPLETELY though. Skipping a start here and there wouldn't be a bad idea though. In fact, I'd be all for a 7 or 8 man rotation at this time of the year. Extra rest for all the starters, extra chances to see the young kids from the minors and extra arms that would allow for shorter starts for our current 1-4 starters.
Nice AB by EE so far.
And he parlays it into a walk.
Just logging on...what happened with Cueto? Is he hurt?
Great AB by Edwin. Even should Jiminez get out of this inning, that at bat alone may have taken him out of the rest of the game.
I would love to see this kind of patience the rest of the year from him and everyone else.
Pitchers love having Corey Patterson at the plate with the bases loaded
My bad. But since April, it's been 12 of 20. I think the kid has been a bit overworked, given his age, his rookie status and his winter regimenQuote:
Or in 12 of 26 starts.
