Today, the Reds are wearing the 1995 throwbacks. The Reds were 85-59 in 1995, winning the NL Central by 9 games over the Astros. (The season had been shortened to 144 games due to the lockout at the beginning of the season.) The Reds swept the Dodgers 3-0 in the NLDS before being swept 4-0 by the eventual World Champion Braves in the NLCS. The Reds were managed by Davey Johnson.
On September 8, 1995, the Reds lost to the Rockies, 10-5 at Coors Field in Denver. The Reds starting lineup that evening:
