Re: 8.28.15 Reds @ Brewers
what the heck was that trying to steal third? I expect that of almost everyone before Votto. I hope he didn't tweak something on that boneheaded call.
Re: 8.28.15 Reds @ Brewers
No Welsh no....year his ass, that was abysmal. Had that been a young player/non star you wouldn't stop.

After rubbing the back of his upper hamstring area after the SB of 2nd

Worst base running superstar ever?
Re: 8.28.15 Reds @ Brewers
No century for Votto as the bowler catches him trying for the extra run before the over was done. Votto run out

I kinda like the idea of Votto running, as long as he's comfortable doing it. If they're going to put him on first, then why not swipe a base or two? Might make them think twice about so easily walking him in the future. Chess, not checkers.

When you're going bad, stuff like this happens. Nothing surprises me anymore with this team.

Lucroy's illegal stepping out is maddening but it's not helping him much.
Re: 8.28.15 Reds @ Brewers
What Welsh described about Iglesias' arm slot is what I think the big flaw (besides walking everyone and his brother) currently for Michael Lorenzen is, there's no deception. He's got a big fastball, but hitters know when he is throwing it.

Who dat, who dat? I-G-G-Y!
Re: 8.28.15 Reds @ Brewers
Iglesias doesn't strike out either of the last two batters, slacker.
