Should be great OBP at the top of this lineup. We will see if any umpires try to cross Votto tonight.

Votto will be on his best behavior....no matter how bad the umps are.
My only fear is that Votto's May cold spell started right after the ejection/suspension.
That ejection was on the 6th with the suspension being for Game 1 on the 9th.

At the time of the ejection his slash was 323/427/596/1023
by May 27 he was down to 275/371/474/834
the 834 is the low point for his season's OPS (with exception of after the 2nd game)
Votto turns 32 today. It's like they say, if you're not a rebel by the age of 20, you got no heart, but if you haven't screamed angrily in an ump's face by the time you turn 32, you've got no fancy coffee drinks.
Of course George Grande is calling the Reds game against the Cardinals. OF COURSE.
This could get ugly. And I mean Grande waxing romantically about the Cardinals.
George thinks Lamb just threw a 93 mph breaking ball.
Lamb walks the first two, then strikes out the next two and gets Molina to pop up an 0-2 pitch in the infield.
John Lamb gets out of a jam.
Is the angry canadian murderbot due up this inning?
If the Cardinals don't pick up his option and I were the Reds, I'd consider signing Jaime Garcia in the offseason. But I have a lot of bad ideas.
I have a feeling that Garcia would be far more useful than our last previous Cardinal, Skippy.
