Do you think a package built around Winker and a prospect (#6-#10 range (Siri?)) would be enough?

If you were the Pirates would you make that deal?
Re: Offseason Trade Targets
The trade evaluation tool in the thread RMR started has Winker's trade value alone being higher than Marte...
Re: Offseason Trade Targets
Saw a Twitter source (FWIW) say that teams are checking in on Winker.
Re: Offseason Trade Targets
I know it would upset many here, but Kyle Schwarber makes a lot of sense for the Reds, even if he wasn’t from you know where.

I would like to have Schwarber but when was the last time the Cub and Reds made a trade?

The thing to remember with Winker, and I think I'm guilty sometimes too of overlooking this, is how much team control he has. A guy who hits .307/.396.511 for his MLB career against RHP and is under control for another 4-5 seasons has some pretty good value despite any flaws.

This is only Twitter link I could find.

Person has 39 followers. Kind of makes me think it's some guy in his basement.
Re: Offseason Trade Targets
I wonder what it would take to pry Ian Happ from the Cubs.

It would take alot for me to give up Winker. That would be a significant hit to our lineup.

If I am the Pirates, I would probably want either Senzel or one guy from each list (A + B) below
List A:
Mahle, Tyler Stephenson , India
List B:
Winker, (Tony Santillan + C prospect), ( Siani + C prospect), Fairchild, Peraza
I am leaving out guys that obviously the Reds would not give up (example, Suarez).
That seems fair for both teams.

I'd rather have Adam Dunn back.

maybe, but I guess I would have to know the Pirates overall strategy next season. My thoughts are they may be retooling for a season or 2, and if that is the case, I do think I would consider the deal if I am the Pirates.
Re: Offseason Trade Targets
Sign Castellanos, Grandal
Trade Iglesias, Aquino, Tyler Stephenson, T.J. Friedl, Jose Peraza for Francisco Lindor
Trade Freddy Galvis, Sal Romano, Tucker Barnhart for Ender Inciarte
