Joey Votto (6) off RHP Chad Kuhl - 106.3 mph, 22 degrees (336 ft Lineout, .950 xBA)
93.5 mph 4-Seam Fastball
Winker walks. Kuhl's having difficulties, even with two lucky outs.
Suarez walks. The troubles for Kuhl continue.
Take a strike Moose
Nope... let's instead swing at ball 3 and end the inning.
What a terrible approach by Moose. The pitcher is struggling with his control, so he swings weakly at a 2-0 pitch that was off the plate.
Mikey M has only been slightly less of a buzzkill than Miley & SA.
Antone has impressed me. Going to cover 3rd on the groundout to the left side is a good effort play.
Aquino and Goodwins splits are not significantly different based on the pitcher from what I recall. Maybe my memory is failing me, but has Aquino made many mistakes in the outfield when he has played? I do not really recall an error but I recall several very good plays. I think he may one of our best defensive outfielders.
Antone did a good job not getting rattled there.
I just hope Reds have a better outfield plan next year. This year they’ve had maybe a dozen guys altogether. The ones who made the team weren’t all necessarily their best. I’ve found it dizzying frankly. Just pick your four best OFers to get the main playing time and add a fifth or a utility. With depth at AAA. Decide on Aquino, one way or the other.
