Given that the Bats just tweeted out a lineup with "Lopez" starting at third, I assume Alejo is now in AAA.

Reds righty Hector Perez cleared waivers and was outrighted off their roster, Bobby Nightengale of the Cincinnati Enquirer tweets. Perez, who celebrated his 25th birthday on Sunday, had been in limbo since the Reds designated him on June 2. He began this year by pitching to a 9.35 ERA in 8 2/3 innings at the Triple-A level before his designation.
Reds.com transactions page says the Reds signed outfielder Braxton Lee to a minor league deal. He’s, uh, not very good.

I was surprised to read that Logan Morrison got a hit for Louisville tonight. I thought maybe I'd missed something, but apparently the Reds just signed him yesterday.

Over the weekend, the Reds signed LHP'er Jayvien Sandrigde out of the FCBL, he'll report to Goodyear, and he's been assigned to the AZL roster for now.
The 22 year old reliever was a 32nd round draft pick by the Orioles out of highschool in the 2018 draft, he would subsequently turn down a full ride to the University of Central Florida and sign for 125,000$.
He went on to pitch 2 seasons in the GCL for the Orioles (26 games total) before being released.
The tall lefty then did something few draft signees ever do, he decided to go back to college and play @ Lynn University (DII), he made it into 4 games for them this year (his freshman year) and was then invited to play for the Norwich Sea Unicorns in the Futures Collegiate Baseball League.
He's the first player to sign a pro contract out of this year's FCBL.
The Reds FO is certainly turning over rocks right now for every enticing arm they can find.
Early this week the Reds signed Dylan Baker and assigned him to AA Chattanooga, over the past 3 years he had been playing with the Kansas City Monarchs (INDY Leagues).
The 29 year old righthanded pitcher was initially drafted by the Indians in the 5th round of the 2012 draft. From 2013 through 2018 he pitched in the CLE and LAD farmsystems, during that span he spent two years on an active 40 man roster but never made it to a 25 man roster.
Reds.com transactions says we signed Mallex Smith to a minor league deal. You may remember him from his time in Seattle and Tampa.
The previously announced Mallex Smith signing went hand in hand with the release of Dwight Smith Jr. The former Baltimore Oriole had been a black hole at the plate most of the year for Louisville, his BAVG was sub .200 up until two weeks ago.
In addition to those moves, the Reds released Matt Ball a couple of weeks ago as well, which went unannounced on here. He had been on Louisville's Injured List all season.
I’ve always found it interesting how quietly a once former promising players career can end in baseball.
Mac Sceroler returned to Reds from Baltimore who had taken him in Rule 5. Assigned to AA
