Beats me! I indicated a preference for large or medium cities with mild climates, universities, and no geographic preference. I guess that funneled me to the Southeast.

Sliced the tip of my left index finger with a bread knife yesterday. Had some of that new liquid bandage on hand because I tend to do this a couple of times a year. That stuff does a great job sealing up that kind of cut. :thumbup:

I've tried that before. The glue leaves a crusty cover! I read somewhere that some of those glues have chemicals that'll burn the skin, while some kinds are OK. I figured the liquid bandage route was guaranteed to be safe.

And Krono, FWIW, this stuff didn't burn.

I read somewhere that cobwebs make good bandages.

31 Grams of sugar in a 12 oz Mt. Dew.

BTW Canadian Dew is made with "real" sugar.

Back in the day Mt Dew had this little logo.

A few weeks back, I tried hard to slice the tip off my thumb (about a thumbtack size chunk). A nurse who lives next door said they couldn't stitch it (I had lost the chunk o' thumb in the salad) and just wrap it up good.

After leaving the bandaids on for 2-3 days, I went to change the bandaids and discovered my thumbnail had turned green. It's growing out now, but for a while, my thumb was a disaster area.
