Eminent domain can really make me mad. Like in Norwood where they're going to tear down perfectly good houses so they can build a Crate & Barrel, or whatever store. :thumbdown

To me Eminent domain should only be used for something that helps everyone, and NO tax revenue does not count, also they should pay MUCH more then what the property is worth

Even if you don't want to run yourself, you can still make a difference. Start going to council meetings. While you're there, speak up during the public hearing portion of the meeting when an issue comes up that you have an opinion on. If a candidate you do like runs, offer to work on her/his campaign. Before long, you'll know the issues well enough and develop the connections to be a credible candidate.

Anyway, last night I had a dream that someone on this board died. No one who posts in this thread. It was just a real weird and very real dream.

Umm, a couple nights ago I had the same dream... That someone on the board passed away, and I was at this person's funeral. I remember what exact shirt I was wearing and everything. It was very disturbing. :(

Wow, SB, I hope it wasn't the same person. That would be a little too creepy.

And yes Krono, if I win, I will adopt you and put you through college. Heck I'll put you all through college (knowing most of you have already been :p: ).

But I would have one heck of a blowout party at the GAB. Diamond seats for everyone (in this thread).

Oh I know... That definitely creeps me out.

But I did take precautions... When I woke up and went to class, I purposefully wore the same shirt that I had on at the funeral in my dream. This ensures that I won't be wearing it anytime soon (I rarely do laundry, plus I wouldn't wear a dirty shirt to a funeral). Yes, I know, I'm weird, but it made me feel slightly better.

I wish I could see the Buckeye game. Have to settle for streaming audio.

My expectations for them are always low on defense. More telling is that they held the Badgers to a 3-and-out on the Badgers' first possession..

I read the council minutes every month, big debate a few months ago about a new 4 way stop, I couldn't believe one guy was so opposed to it, IT'S A STOP SIGN DUDE!

I once had a dream that I was dying, and I knew exactly when it would happen. The whole dream was about me saying goodbye to people. I woke up crying ... it was very surreal.
