Most CF's would get to that ball without having to make an over the shoulder basket catch. Griffey has a great glove, I don't question that. I question his ability to get to balls. He might be the slowest CF in the game.Quote:

that may be true but he is not a good CF these days. He is WAY to slow.Quote:

That is because he is pitching scared. He quits going after them after getting ahead.Quote:

Claussen has to learn to go after weaker hitters. He lost this inning when he went full on Davis. When up 1-2 against the pitcher, you have to put him away. Instead, he went full against him and had to throw a strike. Davis then hit the ball well and got a triple.
Agree Griffey should have got there, but Claussen is hurting himself by nibbling (or just lacking control).
Junior homers to left center. Tie game 2-2.
lloks like the sun has gone behind some clouds and people are getting better swings.
Jr 26th home run 527.  :rockband:
I know you can't compare the two situations, but if Casey had been satisfied with first after he drove Olmedo in...you just wonder why this team is so horrible (with a couple of exceptions) on the basepaths.Quote:
