As a new poster here...I'd like to introduce myself...
Well, I have been searching for good Reds forums for a few years now, and I am glad I ran upon this one. It seems good so far, although I'm not sure I understand the Old Red Guard thing. Oh well.
Anyhow, I live in Richmond, Kentucky and Lancaster, Kentucky and drive up to around 15 games per season. I consider myself a hardcore fan, as I watch or listen to every game in the season, until it is so far hopeless that I can't make myself anymore.
I just want to say that I really hope the new people in the front office for the Reds will change things, and make this team better. (Although Pena being traded away is the next to worst trade they could have made in my opinion...the other being to trade Griffey, of course)
I hope there is a lot of active posters that post on this forum, since I am not allowed to post on the more active one. Thanks for welcoming me on board.
Scott

Hello and welcome!
And yes, both boards are very active (even in the offseason) so pull up a chair and stay a while. Best Reds website on the net!
:)

Welcom aboard. So that you are not alarmed when you read most of the messages here. The sky is falling and the reds organization, namely Narron and Krivsky don't know how to run a MLB franchise. Womack and Hatteberg are not good enough to start on 3/4 of the AAA baseball teams. Freel is the best player ever. Thats all I can think of at the moment, but I'll get back to you if I think of any more.
