According to Gameday, Gorzelanny threw all of two curveballs and one changeup out of 18 pitches that inning. Both curveballs retired a Reds hitter.
Remember what Frank Thomas said a couple weeks ago about umps widening the strikezone between non contending teams? He's right. Joey Votto took two pitches a good eight inches off the plate for called strikes. Terrible calls.
