Harang throws a 1-2-3 first inning on only seven pitches.
Two hitless innings from Harang so far.
With only 7 of us here, do we refer to our group as "The Magnificent Seven?"
I guess everyone else is watching the NFL, also known as the No Fun League. ;)
Ya' know, this hasn't been exactly a fun year to watch the Reds but I just checked on the Bengals game with the Ravens.
Compared to the Bengals the Reds are a delight. Geez, I'll bet that somewhere up in football heaven Paul Brown is wishing he had used a condom.

EdE gets the first hit and now we get the bottom of the order (6-7-8 hitters), to drive him in (wishful thinking).
Bruce HBP. 1st & 2nd with 1 out.
Heeerrrreees Corey! Blech!
Rem
Patterson up with the sacks loaded. I look for the old 4-6-3 DP to end the inning.
Hanigan walks. I love his plate discipline. He'll never hit for much power but he's got a good eye at the plate.
Reds get it done in spite of Corey hitting the first pitch.
