You're probably right but not much in the way of options. I actually think this is the best lineup Dusty can roll out there with what he has.

At the same time.... with our bullpen, one run means a whole lot. Not that I am all for bunting or anything, but I can see why with the Reds bullpen, you would call for the bunt late in games more than others.

Feeling a 2B here into the gap in L-CF

I'd agree if The Reds could actually bunt. But they're god-awful at it.

Jeremy has been good, but when will they learn you can't do that to Joey. He hits no matter way arm the pitcher uses. I hope.

Agree with the first point. But that wasn't the situation. Opening up a base for Votto means walk, which defeats the purpose.

Another thing could be that we had 4 starters throw 200 innings. They were going deep, getting extra at bats where other teams were using pinch hitters.
Re: NLDS Game 1 - Reds at Giants 10/6/12
how many times have we scored after a sac bunt? is there a stat on that?
Re: NLDS Game 1 - Reds at Giants 10/6/12
I like Joey's chances here

An out means a lot with this offense, I guess is what I'm trying to say.
