Re: NLDS Game 1 - Reds at Giants 10/6/12
As bush as it would be I would love to see a team with a starting RHP bring in a LHP after the first batter.

I know. Only like 80 pitches.
Still 3 days, though.

Latos doing the thing right here

Re: NLDS Game 1 - Reds at Giants 10/6/12
Latos gets it done! Keep it up Reds.

GABP syndrome my friend.

Re: NLDS Game 1 - Reds at Giants 10/6/12
After three innings, Reds 2, Giants 0.
Latos at 15 pitches, 11 strikes.
Cain at 54 pitches, 32 strikes.
LOL.

Re: NLDS Game 1 - Reds at Giants 10/6/12
I guess I missed something. Why is ML not on the roster? For Pete's sake, he played all year and helped the Reds get to the post season. I know he has his ups and downs but don't they all? Wow! What a slap in the face.

Yeah, this is the point. Mat is on three days rest, but he enters the game in the THIRD inning. So he doesn't need to work that many innings tonight.
Lecure outing was very helpful.

I think it is the official score's decision at this point if we hold the lead and win.

Yes, if current score holds. Lots of baseball left, though.

He's not going to get a start in this series, and he's not very good pitching in relief.
Agree on all your points though.

It's just the playoff atmosphere where every play or non-play is pivitol. Even the best will make a mistake (just ask Chipper Jones).
