It seems as though Teahan was acquired in case Jason Donald has to miss a serious amount of playing time.

Ray Chang has been moved back to Pensacola from Louisville.
Nick O'Shea has been activated from the DL. Humberto Valor is heading back to extended spring training.

Armando Galarraga was activated for tonight's contest. Mark Teahan is on the Bats' roster. I did not see any corresponding moves.

Ray Chang now knows what a ping pong ball feels like as he is back with Louisville.

Sorry if this has been mentioned Prior. But Mark is on the 7-day DL with right shoulder strain.

I am not liking the injury, rather I am liking the pun.

He's been on 19 teams in 9 seasons. He did this with the Pirates a few years back. He went from A+ to AA and back and forth all year long. He's the type of org guy you need. Just here to play baseball, knows his role, accepts it, and plays decent baseball.

Kinda reminds me of the conversation I had with Ronnie Merrill one day. It was a cold morning April game in Mobile and he was drinking a cup of coffee. I had two cards for him to sign and while he was signing, I asked him what he thought about a stadium and if he ever played their in the California League. I believe it was Visilia. He told me " too early to be asking where I played the past 7 years ". Grabbed his coffee and accepted the fact he was going to be organizational fodder for the next 4 years also. Its very easy for me to root for these kind of guys to get one at bat in the Majors.

Looks like the Reds have signed speedster and former big leaguer Luis Durango, as he is leading off for Pensacola tonight.

Steve Selsky has been sent from Pensacola to Bakersfield. Joe Terry has been bumped back to Dayton.

True, but Durango is probably going to put up great results as a AAAA player in AA. He should help that team pick up a couple Ws.

Came here to find out why he hasn't pitched since April 21st.

    Thanks.
