Actually, it wasn't a full stretch. It didn't need to be on that one though. A full stretch is when you're just inches off the ground. Votto has been upright on all stretches I have seen so far this year.

Votto stretched like that last night on that great DP turn from Phillips.

If using proper golf etiquette -- PGA style -- you don't do anything that might cause the crowd to stir during your opponent's swing. Tiger knew what he was doing. I'm not saying it's a big deal, but these two guys do have a history, so I'm not really surprised one of them would do something like this.

Yesterday Steve Williams walked behind Rory as Rory was over his ball ready to putt -- forcing Rory to back off the putt --- a tactic some have noted from the days he was with Tiger --

There was some chuckling about it by the announcers

The Golf channel broadcasters mentioned that they were 50 yards away and they showed a side by side video of what happened. The crowd started clapping 4-5 seconds before Sergio hit his shot, he had ample time to stop his swing before then......but he didn't and he swung. Sergio is a gigantic crybaby.

I was watching on NBC and haven't seen the replay of it yet. I'm not defending either golfer, because both of them have been guilty of childish behavior in the past -- including when they were paired together.

All golfers are gigantic crybabies, and tennis players too.

MLB hitters are trying to hit a round ball with a round bat that's coming at over 90 MPH from sixty feet away, and they don't ask for silence before each pitch.

In golf, it's the worst, because the ball is just sitting there. How hard is it to hit a non moving target? Why the need for silence? What a bunch of wimps.

My guess --- you've not played golf -- or succeeded if you tried -- but I do get your point ---- in my group we don't talk or move around when others are hitting -- but the razzing is pretty rude -- I've played baseball and other action sports -- and the concentration required is totally different.
