Day has done play by play before. I really don't understand this. Reds have 137 announcers and Day still gets the call?

    Bruuuuuuuuce
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

And then the other automatic out swings at a ball on the ground (as usual) and meekly grounds out.
Rounding third and heading for home...

Has Frazier ever seen an outside pitch he doesn't like? weak pulled grounder on 1st pitch -- that approach I don't like
The older I get - the better I was

and yes - I hate the Cardinals (Reds fan since 1958)

    I miss Raisor

Actually, that at bat speaks volumes about Frazier.

His ground ball rate is way, way up this year.

You could see that by reaching out on the outside pitch and trying to pull it, he beat it into the ground for an easy out.

I'd have to explore more, but that explains much about Todd's season IMO.

Scoring change, Votto gets a hit which is proper.

Good call-- the Votto "error" changed to a base hit.

And the Brewers have their first hit, so Van Der Meer's record is safe.

Shoot. Runner to third on a mis-played throw on the steal.

Mesoraco supposedly has a good throwing arm.

I watch a lot of games, and can't remember his last good throw.

    K for Bailey, two down.

And all the throwing stuff doesn't even matter. Two-run zap, and now the Brewers have the lead.
