Just my opinion here...but you're both right. BP should've played it differently. I agree. The poor throw was on him. But guess what...Joey's GOT to move his feet and get his body in front of that. He fielded that horribly. It was a bad play on BOTH their parts.
IMO, the missed DP was on Phillips, the run was on Joey.
And Didi....he did nothing wrong. In fact it was a VERY good aggressive slide IMO.

Not if he pulled him before the end of the 9th and the Reds win by holding onto the lead.
If he comes out now, he gets the hold. If he comes out in the 9th while the Reds still have the lead, he'd still gets a hold.
He could probably get on the mound today and do exactly what he did back in the day.
