Why even keep stats. Completely ridiculous. 100% error
Seriously? Little league 2Bs make that play.

I'm sure he will be. Just saying it would be nice if we could give him a REAL day off.

And it was 10x less of an error than the one poor ol' Frazier got charged with. You get the ball to 1B in the air = not an error on you.

But I agree, the science of mlb official scorer's = whack. It has really deteriorated over the years.

Votto smacks one to right-center for a single.

I didn't see that one. Wasn't it in like the first or 2nd inning? I logged on around the middle of the 2nd.

Frazier threw it low and in LIVE speed it looked like an easy short hop that Votto somehow missed.....then replay showed that it got to Votto's glove in the air.

Yes! 1st to third baby! Solid single for BPhil. 2 down, men on the corners for Luddy.

Ludwick with a lazy fly to left. End of inning.

I though Ludwick had some great swings last night and was coming around. Didn't look good on that one.

but it looked like Joey had his eyes closed when the ball got near him --- don't think they suggest that normally

The only science is to be a homer....and they are ridiculously and it's one of those little things that drives me nuts.

They did a piece on how the scorekeepers are hired by MLB and not an employee of each team. I don't care who is paying them....they are gigantic homers.
