Five hits in 11 batters. Yep. This Joe Kelly is untouchable.

If the Cardinals worldview and player makeup is more in line with your core baseball beliefs, might I suggest just switching over to a Cards fan. I certainly will not begrudge you and will even help you pack your bags.

/the Cardinals are a top-class franchise, but that doesn't mean I like to hear about it day in and out

After this series, the Reds play three in Colorado, four at home with the Cards, three at home with the Dodgers. Tough stretch.

End of third for Reds, no runs.

I realize that we have an above .500 record, but it feels like it's 2011 all over again. It really does.

Here come the troll accusations. Does Redszone ban actual Cards fans for trolling, or just me?

    That's what I thought.

It's fine. We all deal with grief differently, no? Like I said, I feel total confidence in saying the Reds will succeed in outscoring the Cardinals in a nine inning affair some time in 2014. Hope springs eternal.

It's pretty bad when the best player on your team is the one you would least like up to bat in big games.

Brandon on the other hand, came to play...hit a bullet to left after the hit in the first...2 nice at bats...one hit to show for it.

Reds hitters need blinders. Any time they see someone on base, they can't do anything.

BP looks a little p-o'ed. Maybe he'll tap Molina's shinguards.

Nothing is amusing to me tonight. I think we're all in a boat of anger right now.
