Don't need a sweep of the Cubs...if we win 2 outa 3 the rest of the way we WILL win the division!

That was one of the best games I've ever been to. The game started off looking like the Dodgers were going to knock Latos out early, but he really settled down and pitched a very good game. Cesar Izturis batting second isn't something I ever want to see again, but hey, it worked yesterday. I hated the bunt with Choo, and was so glad to see Frazier fail to lay it down again, and for the second time this week, come up with the game winning hit after failing to drop the bunt down. Billy Hamilton is electric! I've never been so excited about watching someone pinch run. Seeing the Big Red Machine on the field was incredible, but what a game!

Duke, Simon, LeCure, and Hoover all pitched well. The Reds pitching has been very impressive the first two games against a tough Dodgers lineup.

No time to let up. Need to sweep the Cubs.
They don't need to sweep anyone now. Simply winning series--maybe with one sweep but not essential--and good, series-winning work against Pittsburgh, should secure the division crown. We're right in the rear-view mirrors that we need to be. Riding the rear bumpers hard. No, can't let up but don't have to be perfect; just a little better than STL and PIT. And, I'm counting on the Bucs to knock STL off their perch today.
