Can't hear the broadcast. What did Larkin say about Votto?

    Back from Sunday Night Football.....

I watched Carrie Underwood for 90 seconds and now I'm back to the important game.

    At times he has.

Dumb plays in the OF? Misplayed a ball this week. Other than that not much in the way of dumb plays. Playing CF for the first time in his career I'd say he has done pretty well.

I agree he sucks at base-running.

Outfield defense? Guy's been a corner OF his entire career and switched to CF after the age of 30. The fact that he hasn't committed 86 errors is impressive to me.

And you do realize that lots and lots and lots of left handed batter struggle against left-handed pitchers, no?

Quick three up/three down with the Ethier K. Classic start for us. Homer looking very strong; no baserunners allowed through 2. But we're not (yet) hitting or running the bases intelligently.

Nice pitch. Another 1-2-3 inning for Homer.

Just that his RBI total isn't indicative of a 3 hole hitter, but he sure gets on base a lot!

Choo has about a 5 year grace period with me on complaining because I remember Dusty's first 5 years of CF.

Thank you Lord for Shin Soo Choo.
