Feel bad for Leake. Probably just pitched himself out of the playoff rotation.

I wonder how long it will take JoJo to appear to tell us that Leake's not very good

So for the one game playoff against the Pirates, Homer gets the start, right?

Only the last two batters have hit the ball hard.
At no point in these two innings was Leake "doing fine".

    Wright was on deck.

He didn't try to throw it down the middle.

Inning over. Reds gotta put runs on the board, I think the pen can keep the Mets in check.

With Duke coming in, I don't give the Reds much chance to win. Yeah, it's early, but I just don't see Duke, Christiani, or any other mop up guy keep the Mets from adding on.

Cool, it's already 4-0. We're doing good. Oh, wait a minute. Nevermind.

Because Wright was on deck, maybe he did try to throw it down the middle.

Latos is scheduled. Homer will pitch Friday.

It's pretty silly that people are trying to use the last few hits being stung to justify a faulty observation when it was made. And it's kind of bizarre people are actually liking comments that seem to be bragging about his performance, or lackthereof.

Yeah, no doubt he fell apart. The last four hits were stung pretty good. Up to that point, he was doing fine.

    Latos
    Bailey
    Arroyo
    Cueto

I don't think Leake ever had a chance in the world of being in the rotation unless someone got hurt.

Leake's game is very contact oriented and he gives up hits, so the first few were no big deal, certainly something he could recover from. The smoked double by EY and the HR by Murphy, not so much.

Duke likely just in for one batter.
