Miracle of miracles. The local FOX affiliate in DC is showing the game. It'd be nice if the bats would do something today in recognition of this highly unusual event for an east coast based Reds fan.

Reds & Nats, 2013 LCS. Take2 (9/13) Reds but no Nats
Cozart strikes out looking
Hanigan grounds out to 3rd.
Arroyo strikes out looking. 0-0 after 2.
The big three happen to be lefties. But whatever their handedness, the problem is as was just said, there are too many rest stops in the lineup. Very well put.
I just think it's a shame. A GABP team with the two top OBP men in the league?
Could have been amazing.
C'mon Bronson keep holding them down.
Morton pops out to 2nd
Has been a nice pickup for the Bucs but his SLG and OPS are down 70 and 60 pts respectively from what they were in NY. Also don't know that the Reds didn't inquire or what we moght have had to give up. He's also "on the wrong side" of 35!
All that just to make a simple point not as obvious on a day like today. Acquiring Byrd when he hit the market a couple of months ago probably and rightly wasn't a no-brainer for us.

Ugh. Walker homers to right center. 1-0 Pirates
