they usually go downhill when I start to watch. Maybe it'll work in reverse tonight. I'm calling a 4-run 7th for the Redlegs.

Then who would close after the Reds 8-run scoring 8th inning?

Oh don't worry about it. The teams decided before the game they would have a 7 inning scrimmage and then take a 20 minute break and start the real game. You're just in time.

Those who talk about the players chocking and saying it's not Dustys fault need to look up north in Cleveland. Francona might lose tomorrow but that team really has changed and the reason is obvious. He is a "true" players manager.

I remember one time going out to the mound to talk with Bob Gibson. He told me to get back behind the batter, that the only thing I knew about pitching was that it was hard to hit.

Yeah, the game sucks so far. What's to be gained by spreading the misery until the final out?

Even if they did wear them, it wouldn't have stopped them from crapping their pants. It just makes it easier to clean up.

West usually has a huge zone which makes what Cueto did more pitiful. A lot of managers and batters get tossed by West arguing balls and strikes.

Let me put it this way I wud guess the reds swung at probably around 10-12 balls in the dirt through the first 3 innings.

    No, no, no

Chapman is like the special china that's only brought out on Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Sorry, I'm in a foul mood, and a guy who wants his best pitchers pitching the most innings.
