Who is pitching today? No mention of it by Fay or Rosecrans that I can find.

The game is radio only too. The MLB website list WSAI as the Reds station covering the game.

Clr, Bailey vs. Tomlin are expected starters. I can't find anything on who is going after them. No game notes are up on MLB.com yet, and I doubt there will be any, as the game is not televised.

Thanks. You would think a beat writer would mention this in his daily notes.

nah, they're too busy tracking down the really important stuff, like who's in the "best shape of their life" stories.

Would have thought they'd give Hamilton every start this spring, so he can see as much of the MLB pitchers as possible before the season starts.

I think the Reds need to balance that thought and the thought that Billy has not played more than 149 games in a season up to this point. You want Billy to hit the ground running on Opening Day, but you don't want him to wear out in September for a potential playoff push.

I keep seeing Reds DH Pena and wishing it meant Wily Mo was back. (and he brought Balentien back from Japan with him)

Chapman came in at the bottom of the 5th and promptly struck out the side.

Bailey: 2 ip, 1 hit, 2 runs, 1 walk. Walked Chisenhall, went 3-1 on Raburn before the homer. #Reds down 2-0.

Reds trail 2-0 in the 6th. They have 2 hits so far.

    Votto: 0-2
    Bruce: 1-1, BB
    Ludwick: 1-2
    Frazier: 0-2
    Mesoraco: 0-2

    All backups playing now.

Would be nice if the Reds lineup contained more legitimate prospects...instead of the Durans, Lamarres, Navarros and Barnharts of the world.
