    Can anyone explain why Cozart was credited with an RBI when he nearly hit into a double play? It seemed to me it was weird that he got one considering that if there was not a throwing error from the 2B on the play that it would've turned a DP and nullified the run at home.

    Only because you can't assume the double play, no matter the circumstances.
