I saw it in 3d today, and I found the effects distracting, particularly the images on the edges of the foreground, which I kept mistaking for people walking in front of the screen. Conversely, a man did walk in front of the screen, and at first I thought he was part of the movie. I actually thought the most effective 3d image was the beginning scroll.
